Lakers and Spurs

Am I the only one who wants the damn Spurs out of the playoffs. I cant wait till the Lakers eliminate that team. Let me expand on why the Lakers are going to prevail. First and foremost, the Lakers are on a hot streak. Yes, I do understand both of their wins came at home, but that wont be a problem for kobe and his crew. They are playing the best basketball they have played all year. Everyone is contributing and helping out Kobe when he needs it. Although Lamar Odom has had his ups and down the Rhode Island native has helped his team when needed. Gasol and Kobe have been the main factors giving Tim Duncun and Tony Parker problems. Derek Fisher has also helped in controlling the ball and assists. His shooting has been off this series. The Spurs have their backs against the wall down 2-0 in the series. I think they will split in San Antonio making the series 3-1 heading back to L.A. My advice to the Spurs is simple... Stop Kobe Bryant.

Nuggets and Lakers

Wow.... who would have though the Denver Nuggets would get swept by the Lakers in 4 games! I just gont get it, the Nuggets have four legit players who can take over a game if needed. Carmelo Anthony, Allen Iverson (who had over 40 in the regular season against the Lakers), Marcus Camby ( excuse the spelling), and Kenyon Martin. These are all players with some of the highest payrolls in the game. Obviously, coach Carl didnt get the point from Kobe after he dropped 49 against his defender Martin. Martin is not by any means the candidate I would have to guard Kobe. The Nuggets will most likely be looking for a new head coach. I hate to say it but the Nuggets spent way to much money on overated players. These players are good in the regular season but seem to choke when it comes to playoff time. A message to the Nuggets: Have fun at home watching the rest of the playoffs from your couch.

Can Lebron Bring the Cavs to Another NBA Finals?

The answer is very simple, No. Lebron is good, but like everyone else is always talking about, he has no supporting cast. . Lebron averages 30 ppg and 7.2 apg and let me tell you, trading larry hughes was really stupid. If Lebron could have utilized him like Gilbert Arenas did, there would be more consistency in Clevelend. I understand that Ben Wallace is a defensive player but come on, hes horrible on the offensive side of the ball (points wise). Wally Szczerbiak is averages just over 11 points which is decent but wont be enough to bring a trophy to the organization. Ilgauskas is the only real help that Lebron has, averaging 14.1 ppg and is active on the boards. The only thing with Z is that he is also very inconsistent. For example he went on a run in Feb. against Denver, Orlando, and SA averaging only 6 points a game!! He also did the same thing in January against 3 below average teams, averaging under 6 points a game. Also with Eric Snow out of the picture the Cavs will be lucky to get past the Wizards in the first round.

Welcome!
